Brown Women
What color of lipsticks are most suitable for Indian women, being mostly black and brown in skin color.?
My friends always put on sparky gold lipsticks, she said it's best for Indian women.
yes well she is rite but not totally, if u have tannish/bronze skin it wouldnt work beacuse u dont want ur lips to blend in w/ ur face. u can use a darkish pink with gloss no light pinks, and some red or coral/orange if u can find a good one

Colour not only affects how healthy and attractive you look, but also affects how you feel. You probably have at least one or two colours in your wardrobe that make you look and feel like death warmed-over. Every time you put on a particular jacket or dress, you sigh and reach for your blusher and lipstick. The colour seems to drain you. It simply wears you.
Also, when you open your wardrobe, can you see any relationship between the colours? Just look at the colour families you have assembled there. Do you play it safe with lots of the same shades? Or is your wardrobe a veritable riot of colour, with lots of items seeming to scream for attention, not wanting or able to work with anything else?
It's normally black, brown, and black but this time designers had a little trick up their sleeve. Cue here jewel-like colours, like purple, which has become the new black, claret, fuchsia and also primary ones, like vibrant reds, eye-popping yellows and stark blues all dominated the catwalk, which resembled more like a Vermeer painting. Check Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, one of the most directional shows of the season for colour combinations, or even John Galliano for Dior.
As a busy working woman you can't afford to look miserable, overwhelmed or insignificant in the wrong colours. Nor do you need the hassle of trying to mix and match things that you bought separately, just hoping they'd go with something you already had — only to be bitterly disappointed. What you need is a system to make you look wonderful, to uncluttered your wardrobe and to make shopping a snap.
Women with dark hair and eyes looks wonderful in black and bold colours, such as red, purple, emerald green and royal blue. Blue-eyed blondes and some women with very light grey hair are most suited to lighter colours. Then there are the women who project a real warm and golden glow. The redheads, women who freckle easily look wonderful in warm shades. So do the women with mid-brown hair that often has reddish highlights. Their opposites are the rosy and cool types, who have pink undertones to the skin, and no real warmth in the hair, which can be a beautiful grey to mid- or mouse-brown.
Colour is a great way to inject life into your wardrobe and a great way to be introduced to hues and shades that can be great alternatives to black, like steel blue or forest green. The key to this trend is choosing colours that complement your complexion. Warmer shades, like poppy go well with darker complexions, while cooler ones like burgundy complement paler ones.
If you are colour shy, you can introduce colour in the form of subtle embellishment. Look at Marni for example: Dresses and separates in off-colours were accentuated with a hint of colour in the form of embellishment on the neckline. You can also add a subtle detail like that: a black sheath dress adorned with small square crystals in a rich purple or burgundy. At StyleShake, you can have them in every colour possible. Each one is a unique, one of a kind piece of wearable art.
