is it safe to bike ride with your dog running?
I saw someone do this, and i thought it would be awesome to do that with my Lab, but then i thought what if i got tangled or fell- does anyone do this?

I'd say that it depends on the dog(s).
I saw some guy doing this. When they rolled by our house, they saw my dog, crossed over the path of the bike, and the guy on his bike ran over the dogs.
So, for me personally, I wouldn't do it.
We take him out on roller blades. I use a harness, and NO, I DON'T have him pull me. He's too small and it's bad for his bones. But he's able to run faster when I'm on my roller blades. We do go in an area which is safe and next to no cars.

I've had the opportunity of taking a number of motorcycle trips in my lifetime but I've still got a lot miles to put on and a lot of different places to go. Some of the few places that I'd like to ride to are the West Coast and the famous Highway 1 that runs up and down the Pacific coast. I'd also like to ride down to Arizona and New Mexico to take in some of the infamous desert and mountain riding These are just a couple places that I'd like to ride to.
Where have I been? Well I've been down to Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Kentucky. These five states have some of the most beautiful country side this country has to offer and I enjoyed every minute of it. The twists and turns up and down through the mountains were just breath taking, and even more so on a motorcycle. I know it's only a handful of states out of all of them, so I hope to be able to visit more and more of them as I go on riding throughout my life.
As I said before, I would like to get out to the west more and explore the country side out there. Places like Wyoming, Colorado, Montana all seem to have their own unique landscape that I think would be very exciting to see. There are just so many places and so little time. If only I could ride my motorcycle around the country and get paid to do it, that would be the life. I think if this were true, there would be A LOT more motorcycles on the road today!
What motorcycle trips do you have planned for yourself? There are so many places to go on your motorcycle, and so little time to get to all of them. Make sure you take the time to get out on the road and see some of those places that you've always wanted to see. You'll certainly regret it if you don't.
