All little girls like to play "house!" That is all of them except the one in the song "I don't want to play house; it makes my mommy cry!" But, that is something completely different, not so? That is why all little girls need a Kidkraft Retro Kitchen and Refrigerator in pink.
So, under normal circumstances little girls enjoy playing house. Playing house includes cooking. Make sure your little girl has pots and pans, a play stove and fridge if possible and even a play washbasin.

You can also instill healthy food preparation methods by showing her how she can "steam" and "grill" the food.
By using her play "fridge" you can teach her how to store fresh produce safely and the correct way of storing leftovers. I know it sounds like work, but with a little imagination and good toys she will learn all this without even knowing it. Play with her and let it all come natural in the line of play.
It stands to reason that the play kitchen you use has to be strong and it has to be big enough for more than one to play in at a time. You will not succeed in teaching her all this while playing if you have only a tiny little hole she has to play in!
