How does hot weather stress the engine?
Some people say driving during hot weather is bad for the car. My question is...if the engine oil can withstand extreme heat inside the engine, how is a little heat from the environment going to make a difference? Compared to the engine, the outside air (let's say 110 F)seems like it's air conditioned!
The engine is fine, as long as you have (1) A good fan that works,
(2) that the thermostat works. (3) that the radiator capis in good condition. (4) that you have the correct anti-freeze mix.
