In the Paralympics, how does a running guide keep up with a blind runner?

Need he/she be faster than the athlete? Are there multiple guides who take turns?
So if the disabled runner performs at a very high level, do they find elite athletes to be guides?

The guide need to run at the same paste of the blind runner but must stay behind the blind runner at all times. If they are in class T 11 the runner must where blindfolds.

Yes they can choose to have more then one guide in some long distance races. A Kenya runner change guides in 2000 after he dragged his guide across the finish line

The guide runners do have to be at a high level. I heard the commentor say something about it last time but I can't remember what it was.

Have you seen the beach body infomercials on TV? They have been running for at least a couple of years and are now rebranded as P90x. Muscle confusion os a good thing. What happens is that you body after lifting weights for even a short period of time will get use to the workouts and you will eventually stop making gains.
