2000 chevy blazer over heating?

my blazer seems to be over heating whenever i turn on the a/c, the temp Gage usually sits at the mid Point of the Gage. but after awhile it would start to go past that point and when i check my recovery bottle its empty. and now the recovery bottle is empty even if i don't run the a/c but thGagege wont reflect any over heating. also sometimes the gage would read normal until i shut the car off and restart it the needle then heads towards hot

The cause of this could be several things. I would first recommend you take it to a certified mechanic and get a free quote on how much it would cost to fix it.
