High tops are generally considered to be a casual shoe. However, high school students have been photographed wearing funky high tops with tuxedos to their high school prom, and even the older set has embraced pairing high top sneakers with dressed up outfits. High tops are a versatile seasonal shoe and can be worn with long pants in the winter and shorts in the summer. Other style options include:

We're not a fan of sagging baggy pants, and we cringe when we see older men clinging on to their last bit of youth and opting for this disorganized look. Older men can wear high tops without looking immature. The key is to select pieces that fit your body and look in the mirror and ask yourself, 'What's my age again?' before exiting the comfort of your home.

Style Tip: Plaid or checked casual long sleeved collard dress shirt + soft v-neck cotton or poly blend sweater vest + straight leg denim jeans + high top sneakers. Roll or push up the sleeves for a more casual worn look. Add a fedora hat as an accessory. If you're daring wear a bow tie.
