Inside I plan on showing some very valid moves you can take from many different styles of fighting to gain the upper hand in a life or death fight.
Learn martial arts moves #1 - Trapping. Being able to keep your attacker from raising or bringing his limbs up into range to hit you. Trapping involves pinning your attackers arm against his chest and striking him repeatedly with your spare hand while he's temporarily immobilized.
Learn martial arts moves #2 - A really big misconception is that sport based styles of fighting with high kicks to the head like taekwondo, do not work. In a street fight do not give your opponent the upper hand in getting you on the ground or throwing you off balance. Avoid high head kicks and instead, kick the groin, shin and knees.
Learn martial arts moves #3 - Hit the most painful areas of your attacker to cause the most damage. Punch him in the throat, kick him in the groin, stab his eyes with your finger tips, bite his neck, do what you have to do to win the fight, no matter how barbaric or dirty it may seem. Remember there are no rules in a street fight.
Learn martial arts moves #4 - Remember the basics of keeping your distance and blocking incoming strikes that could hurt or contact you. Don't reach to block strikes that are out of range, but obviously block and trap incoming attacks to protect yourself.
