I have a trade show to work wearing a white oxford shirt and Khakis. I'm told black shoes are aren't ok. True?

If this is a "One Time" Thing, where know that you are only going to work this trade show this time, then fine, don't buy new shoes.
BUT, if this is something that you will be doing several times, then NO, the Black Shoes are not okay.
This is trade show, and the fact that you have to wear a specific outfit means that they want you too look a certain way and present a certain image ( you are representing who evers business).
I am more concerned with the fact that you are wearing Doc Martens than the actually color. The outfit you are wearing can be termed Business Casual and Doc Martens are too casual for that.
I understand that you are going to be on your feet most of the day so comfort is key.....
So if this is an ongoing thing, than get a brown belt and brown shoes. If you are on a budget, just go to Payless and get some brown shoes in the mens department ( No one is going to know were you got them from and you will only be wearing them for these types of events, so they will last ) and get a brown belt from Walmart ( can get shoes there too), it will cost you about $30 for both items ( probably even less than that)!

Clinton Twp., MI - Two of the hardest working Vegas tribute artists from Michigan donated their talent and time Saturday night at the Mirage Banquet Hall in Clinton Township in the fight against childhood cancer diseases.

Elvis Kelly and Michael Carluccio, known as the Las Vegas Tribute Brothers, sang with the voices and music of Las Vegas's most celebrated stars: Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Paul Anka, and Tom Jones. Carluccio, who performs solo as the 1-Man Legend Show, received some unexpected accompaniment from an audience chorus line as he saluted the "Big Apple's" theme song, "New York, New York."

Carluccio's favorite presentation is his "Rat Pack" exhibition of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, complete with banter between himself and the audience. However, before his favorite shtick, it's not unusual for Michael to get the entire audience warmed up with a Tom Jones music number followed by a medley of Neil Diamond and Paul Anka hits.

Local entertainment producer and music critic, Dennis Nazelli, claims that Michigan audiences are in for, "... a refreshing treat when their Vegas Legends' act hits local stages." "First of all, the price of admission for the duo's dinner show is so affordable that it will make skeptics wonder if these guys are just amateurs at the Capuchin Kitchen."

"These guys are the real deal," proclaimed Nazelli. "Everybody is doing Elvis, and, there are hundreds of Sinatra pretenders," he continued. "But, there are very few acts that can do it all like these two local artists!" Kelly and Carluccio have appeared as solo performers on the same stage. Kelly has performed mostly as a solo act with his Elvis tribute show. However, the act that they have put together is a first for them. They combine their individual talents in a 90-minute show celebrating the biggest Las Vegas names in show business.

Along with their talent, the one factor that drives audiences to beg for more is their contact with their admirers during their show. "I love performing outside of Las Vegas," blushed Michael. "In Vegas, they don't allow us to get out and into the audience. Here our singing goes beyond the eyes and ears; it gets inside and touches their hearts."

Carluccio's schmaltzy sentiment may seem a bit over-dramatic. Yet, his presentation depends on that voltage of connection with the audience. As the "King of Rock 'n Roll," Elvis Kelly's side of the stage is in stark contrast to Michael's balladdeering. Besparkled in radiant sequins, the King's costumes leave nothing to the imagination for the star-struck crowds. The king of the Elvis Presley impersonators shakes it up for his standing and frenzied audiences.

Kelly and Michael are both from Michigan and welcomed the opportunity to tour in their home state this fall and winter. They are currently adding performances for afternoons and evenings. Cabin beds were originally designed for children. These are boys and girls between the ages of four and fifteen. Personally looking at the cabin beds out there today I really would not mind owning one. My only problem is that I no longer sleep alone and most are designed for one. As far as I have seen there are three types of cabin beds. These are classified according to their height from the floor and their general size. There is the mid sleeper, the high sleeper and the largest tallest captain cabin bed. The captain bed is the most complex and would be more preferable for the older kids. They are less likely to take a fall from high up there and need the leg room anyway.

The highly sophisticated design put into cabin beds is quite impressive. All kids love to have fun. This is not overlooked at all in the design. They are being sculptured or carved as tree houses, caves or entire islands. They are a fantasy in their own way. The cabin bed can change or give a theme to a child's bedroom by itself. Installing a separate play room in the house is not really a necessity after some cabin beds.

For those kids who need a desk a cabin bed easily delivers. It can have a desk adjoined to it. They can put up their books and play things right there on the same unit. Anything that fancies their hobbies. The unit can have a couple of drawers to keep their books and personal small things in.

The cabin beds can also come with closets. The kids can have a place to hang up or fold their clothes in. There is therefore not really a pressing need to buy a separate closet. This handles economy of space and money single handedly. That is valuable to most parents who are struggling to balance their accounts but still do not want to be stingy with their kids.

The practicality of a cabin bed is undeniable. They liberate a lot of space in the room to be used for other things. They generate a sort of fun for the child and his friends. They leave the room looking nice and neatly tucked getting rid of a lot of clutter. Some of these cabin beds come with pull out sofa beds that come in handy on that occasional sleep over.
