What is life like in air force tech school?
I know this question has been asked but I havent found the info yet. I was wondering, is tech school like college or is it more strict? Will I have fun like college? But I am trying to do my work so dont talk stuff, also will people be at the tech school thats only doing my job, and how is the dorm rooms. And lol I know alot of questions but when will I be able to drive? Any more info you can give me that would be great thank you!
Also I would like to know, will I be able to have a celephone, laptop and a tongue piercing in tech school.? Thank you.
Tech school will not be much different from Basic. You will be roomed with 1 room mate. You will be able to have a lap top. Wear your jewlry when not in uniform. I suggest u dont drive until out of School. Their will be more classes going on than yours. After Basic, You will have to go EVERYWHERE in uniform for the first couple of weeks, after that a couple of weeks, civilian clothes only in the dorm, after that only while on duty will you have to wear uniform. You will have chores to do, such as cleaning the bathroom with others as well as keeping your room in inspection condition. Your school will depend on your ASVAB scores
your schooling will last from 6 wks to 6 months or more. your classes will be 8 hr days. You will have fun but study hard. Your classes will not end there, you will always be in class of some sort after Tech School. to get a higher rank and a higher level in your career field.
