A question about the Black, strappy Gladiator high-heels?
Do you think that they look better when it's patent leather or just regular leather?
I can't buy them from a very expensive high-end brand, maybe just Aldo or Charles & Keith or Spring or something.. (I dunno if you have these stores in the usa)
So do the higher-end brands mostly make them in patent leather or just regular leather?
Also, is it more chic if the actual straps were thick or thin?
I am asking all these questions because I want to buy one pair to wear with a cocktail dress at a party this summer.

I'm a 7 1/2. Should I get size 7 or 8?
I am thinking of buying strappy heels (gladiator type) that zip up around the ankle. I am a size 7.5 but the shop doesnt sell half sizes. When I tried on the size 7's they fit well but when walking around I thought that they might be a bit tight near the toe area. The size 8's were loose around the ankle so doesnt look nice.
Dont know which to get. They are only on sale for a few more days!

Combat Boots
How do I repair combat boots?
My combat boots have several nicks and gouges from the last time I was out in the field. How can I fix them? They are too deep to fill with polish but they don't go all the way through the boot.
I would use a flexible wood putty to fill in the gouges and then polish over them. You can also get something called "boot saver" on the internet that will go over the toe of the boot and cover up holes, ect. Baring that, there has got to be a boot repair store somewhere near your base that could repair and polish them for you. The wood putty is more of a temporary, cosmetic fix. I hope are armed forces are not in such dire straights that they cannot even afford new boots for you guys!

Learn about some of the most powerful PK classes in Runescape - Range pures and the maxed Range pure. Here is a Rs guide explaining everything from armor to the way to attack with Range pures.
Range Pures
A Range pure is a Runescape player whose main attack is Range. Range pures often have 99 Range and will attack by what is known as farcasting in Runescape. Although Magers usually are called farcasters, Range attacks are considered to be a far cast since they attack from a far distance. Range pures often use Magic attacks, like teleblock to block players from teleporting and one of the three holding Magic spells to stop other players from running, which are Bind, Snare, or Entangle.
There are different types of Range pures. There is the level 1 Defense Range pure, level 40 defense Range pure, level 70 defense Range pure, and the maxed Range pure. Of course, there are some types in between, and many different variations of pures; however, these are the 4 most basic types of Range pures that all other Range pures are based off.
Level 1 Defense Range Pure
This is the most basic and lowest level Range pure. Often times, 1 Defense Range pures will have all other combat stats, besides maybe Magic, Prayer, and of course Hit Points, all at level 1. This will result in a combat level close to 75. With these, you will only be able to use hard leather armor. However, you are able to use almost every bow, depending on the quests you have finished. Usually for PKing, you will use a Magic short bow or a Rune crossbow for members, P2P. For F2P, you will most likely use the maple shortbow.
Pking with a 1 Defense Range pure is fairly simple. All you have to do is attack people around your level, but make sure to teleblock them so they can't teleport and hold them from running with one of the three magic spells.
Level 40 Defense Range Pure
The 40 Defense Range pure is the pure wearing green dragonhide armor. They have a combat level of around 90, which depends on the Range pure's Prayer level. They use the same weapons as level 1 Defense Range pures. The only real difference is their defense level and the armor that they can wear.
You can also decide to get 50 Defense to wear blue dragonhide, or get up to 60 defense for red dragonhide armor. All of these PK the same as the level 40 Defense Range pure, having only different defense and combat levels, making it somewhat more dangerous and harder to PK with.
Level 70 Defense Range Pure
The level 70 Defense Range pure opens up new options for PKers. For one, they get to use black dragonhide armor, the best out of all the colors of dragonhides. The second perk 70 Defense pures get is to use some of the Barrows Armour. You now have the chance to wear Karil's armor that gives great Defense and Range attack bonuses. Although it is a little pricey, it is worth taking out at least one item, like the skirt or top, in order to boost your ability to PK against Melee and Mage PKers. You can also chose to use the Karil's crossbow; however, my weapon of choice would be a Rune crossbow with either Diamond bolts (e) or Dragon bolts, because of their wicked special attacks. You should also wear an Amulet of Fury, Dragon boots, an Archer's ring, and an Obby shield.
With this pure, there is no doubt you should be using Entangle and Teleblock. However, if you have Ancient Magics, you may want to try PKing deep with Ice Blitz or Ice Burst, depending on your Magic level. This will attack your opponent, while also freezing them. After you cast the Ice attack, they will most likely pray Magic. If they don't pray magic, keep hitting them with Ice attacks. If they do pray Magic, switch over to Range and attack them. Keep switching attack styles and try to catch them off guard with it, which will ultimately kill them if they stay frozen and can't teleport.
The Maxed Range Pure
The Maxed Range pure is basically the same as the level 70 Defense Range pure. The only difference between the two pures is that Maxed Range pures must have 99 Range, 99 Defense, 99 Hitpoints, and most likely 99 Magic. Prayer levels and Summoning levels all differ from player to player, but it must have those three level 99 skills.
The armor is basically the same set up; however, many Maxed Range pures that PK will probably spend more money to get bigger and better items as they earn more money. Once you are a Maxed Range pure, you will probably start to earn some very good money as you will be able to down many of the other PKers, simply because of your maxed out skills. A Maxed Range pure is around a level 106 if it has level 1 Attack and level 1 Strength. Could you imagine fighting a level 106 with four level 99 skills?!? Talk about getting owned if you have all level 70-90 skills spread out over all the combat skills!

When you are younger, much of your bone mass is composed of a flexible substance called cartilage. As you grow, much of your cartilage gradually melds together to form solid, adult bones. Growth plates, which are pieces of cartilage located on the ends of long bones, are what causes growth spurts in most children.
However, what the people who sell height exercise tapes to you don't want you to know is that once your bones are done growing, there is absolutely nothing short of surgery that will make them longer.
However, if your body is done growing, don't lose hope. There are many different ways to improve your appearance and bone health as well.
Your wardrobe is an important factor when it comes to your height. By wearing dark colors and vertical stripes, you can make yourself look taller and thinner. High heeled shoes and boots can also help increase your height.
Believe it or not, your posture also affects your height. While it can't physically make you taller, sitting up straight not only makes you appear taller, but it gives you a mien of alertness and confidence as well. Incidentally, having poor posture can make you look even smaller than you are now.
While height exercises can't do anything to increase your height, having a steady workout regimen can not only help keep your posture perfect, but having a slim, muscular body can make looking taller easier.
In extreme cases, you can even have surgery to lengthen your bones. This is done by creating gaps in the bone and installing plates to allow the bone to re-grow in the space between. However, this should never be done lightly.

WARM UP: 5 mins progressive warm up to include dynamic stretches and joint mobility work for the full body and static stretches ONLY for muscle groups that are particularly tight (e.g. calves and hamstrings).
PERFORM THIS CIRCUIT WITH 30s REST BETWEEN EXERCISES, REPEAT THE CIRCUIT 1-3 TIMES:
Swings x 15 (If you want even more of a cardio blast for maximum fat burning you can add a set of swings in between every other exercise in the circuit. You can also have an active rest by performing a 'round the body pass' or slingshot for the 30 s rest period - this will give you abs some extra work and stop the heart rate dropping too much...)
Squats x 20 (10 each side if holding KB racked to one side, alternatively hold to your chest, by the horns).
Single Leg Deadlift x 10 each leg
Cossack Side Lunge x 10 each side
Single Leg Straight Leg Deadlift x 10 each side
KB Overhead Squat x 10 each side. Hold one kettlebell overhead as you squat - only if you have strong and stable shoulders and feel comfortable doing this. The alternative is to leave the KB out of it and hold your arms above your head in a Y shape.
Tactical Lunges x 10 each side. Pass the kettlebell under your leg at the low point of the lunge, while keeping the body tall. Step back with the leg you are holding the kettlebell in.
Side Lunges x 10 each side.
Single Leg Get Ups or Full Pistol Squats x 5 each side. If you can do full Pistols, then shoot! If you can't (or don't know what I'm on about) then try the Get Up - sit on a chair, extend one leg in front of you and stand up with one leg only, then sit back down! Start high and gradually lower the seat as you improve.
Windmill x 10 each side. This should be done without the Kettlebell until you have the movement dialled, then add a light kettlebell to the lower arm and eventually hold the kettlebell in the upper arm.
Same Side Elbow to Knee Crunch x 10 each side. Hold a light kettlebell in the arm overhead, bringing the elbow down to the knee as you lift the knee up on the same side.
Side Plank 30 s each side. To make this harder, lift the top leg so you are in a star shape....
You can repeat this circuit up to 3 times. As you improve, reduce the rest periods and increase the number of circuits.
It's not just your legs that will benefit from this workout - you will feel more energised, you'll lose bodyfat and tone up all over - developing great abs and a tighter butt too!

How Do I get these brown spots off my feet?
I got my Rainbow Sandals pretty wet today. I noticed that they left the brown blobs all over my feet. I went home and took a shower but it wont come off. What will wash it off QUICK?!
Use a little nail brush and scrub your feet with shampoo straight from the bottle. Work in a little water at a time on the brush until you work out all the stain. You'll be fine in 20 minutes.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's recent remark that the dire impact of the current economic crisis on the lives of so many people is "just the birth-pains of a new global order" or some such irresponsible claptrap prompted some sections of the British press to wonder if the Prime Minister had lost his marbles. Maybe he has: certainly it is alarming to witness such blithe admission of criminal conspiracy being uttered by the man at the helm of an entire nation.
I've just lost my job, my company has shut down and I can't pay my mortgage or my grocery bill but Mr Brown isn't worried: my suffering is "merely" the birth-pains of a "new global order." Oh well that's all right then. I'm delighted to know my sacrifice is not in vain, that someone somewhere is doing all this for my own good. But what "good" exactly? What economic text book is this from? What is this new global order and why has no-one seen fit either to explain it to me or even ask me if I want it? Whom will it benefit? When it is in place, who will be running the show? What will be the nature of this Promised Land and will I even like it? Not much of an explanation from our noble leader so far, merely a hint that something or other is going on that somebody planned.
Some unspecified persons with apparently global influence are rustling up some global omelet from some secret recipe book the rest of us don't know about. And many of we citizens evidently are the eggs that just have to be broken so that the hidden power can rustle up their piece de resistance. I'm forced to wonder who, when the meal is finally served, will be sitting there with their feet under the dining table. I bet it isn't me, or you dear reader, either. I've a feeling the destiny earmarked for most of us is with all the other broken shells in the waste bin. Isn't democracy wonderful? Democracy while we are about it is – in theory – government of the people, by the people, for the people but I don't think many of us are actually kidding ourselves that that's what we've got.
In a democracy the people are supposed to be able to instruct their government. Ha Ha. How on earth are we, the people, supposed to know what instructions to give when we don't have any reliable data on which to base those instructions? When Prime Ministers in cahoots with unnamed and faceless powers can just go ahead and engineer recessions to achieve futures designed for us without our knowledge or consent, our democracy has become a con game.
