Which Combat Boot Is Better?
Alright. I have been in Civil Air Patrol for about a month now. I don't have my uniform I am going to start by buying a pair of combat boots. I've found two that I'm trying to decide between.

Hi. My name is Quirl. I'm a barefoot runner. I've been clean for 8 months... Yeah, my name is Quirl but you can call me Jacob, most people do. I should probably clarify though that I'm not an exclusive barefoot runner. I can't say every outfit I put on is the epitome of contemporary fashion but lets just say my blue vibrams don't really match much. Except my urban camouflage pants, I'm kidding, about owning camo pants not about whether they match or not. I don't even wear them to run all that often because, well, it hurts to run on the road. So for a long tempo run on Saturday instead of velcroing my VFF's I lace up my SHOES (ASICS speedstars).
I still run barefoot. As much as I love shoes, especially running shoes, I would prefer to run without them. I could rattle off more information about brands, models, weights, impact reducing technologies, and stabilizing properties of running shoes than you could probably stomach without losing your lunch. Despite that or maybe because of that when I kick off my shoes and take off running I feel like my feet have been unhinged. Its so... clean. Every step I take is like a personal clinic in bio mechanical goodness. I feel faster. Like I might even catch mister Bolt from behind while he is warrior posing towards the sky. I feel lighter. Like I might be flying over the grass with the ease that Dibaba floats on the track. It's an addicting feeling and yeah, I'm addicted.

The statuary enlaced with snakes, protected by the fully armed gunmen, is lifted by people over their heads. The parade procession marches awesomely along the streets. The scene is so spectacular.
"The snake parade" stands for blessing the town residents safe and being away from the invasion of any Belial. It is reported that there are lots of snakes which cause troubles to the local people in this area around. Also, people can see wolf groups appear now and then. The residents in town believe that it is the reptiles and wild animals with fangs that bring the adversity here. Later, people catch the snakes as offerings to show their respect for Saint Dominique. If the reader says they could wait to see page after page to find out what came next it intrigues me to at least want to pick up the book and try it out for myself. I also go into a book read with some excitement knowing someone else had an exciting time reading.
4. Start with the time and plot. Where do we start? What time period are we in and was did the area look like and for me most important smell like. If you describe something like a warm fire that crackled and smelled of burning logs I will immediately be swept up into a cozy and inviting setting.
5. Who are t the main characters. They should be described on the next slide. Do they come into the book from the beginning or are they introduced later as something happens?
6. What happens in the book? This is a basic summary and don't bore the listeners into too much detail. Keep it simple! If they want to know more they can read the book themselves. Give them the utmost highlights about what the main topic are only.
7. Next slide put you into the scenario. Did you like a particular part because you could relate. This happened to me when I was a child or this is commonly used in a certain part of the country.
8. Give your opinion. Everyone interprets things differently. How did the book make you feel? What did you take away from the book? Did this vary from others who read the same book?
9. Finalize in the last slide but don't give away the ending or the whole story. Remember to not bore your audience but let them know what the book is mainly about.
Most classrooms or libraries have a projector or a laptop connected to a TV or screen in which you can present your book report. You should be able to save your project onto a cd or better yet use a micro flash drive to bring in your work and load up onto the classroom laptop. Make sure to add a few pictures into the presentation. Some color and visual aids helps to keep your audience focused on your work.
